Most people are surprised to hear that the most trained/longest training for a Special Operations Force is 1 year(possibly 1 year, 3 months) from the USAF PJ's(Pararescue Jumpers). PJ's are some of the most highly trained combat medics in the US Military and often work with other US and international special operations units. Their training is longer than most other units because they go to more courses than other SOF units. Additional information can be found at the link below.
