That distinction probably goes to Hawaii, which comes ahead of Alaska and Rhode Island.
Typically, the United States experiences the fewest tornadoes in December.
Of those three Nevada gets the fewest tornadoes and is in fact one of the lowest ranking states for tornadoes. Florida and Texas are in the five highest.
Montana. The cows outnumber the people.
== ==
The state that has the fewest national parks is the state of Delaware. The state is the only one in the US with no national park.
Maine
Florida
All US states have had tornadoes. Antarctica gets snow and no tornadoes, but it is a continent, not a state.
Seatle
Kansas gets the highest number of tornadoes per area unit, with about 12 tornadoes per 10,000 square miles per year.
Rhode Island has the second lowest number of tornadoes. This is a somewhat misleading statistic, however due to Rhode Island's small size.
