The first ayats(or verses) of Surat Alalaq are the first Quran ayats that were revealed by God to prophet Muhammad (pbuh).
These Ayats are:
اقْرَأْ بÙÂاسْم٠رَبÙÂّكَ الَّذÙÂيخَلَقَ ï´¿Ù¡ï´¾ خَلَقَ الْإÙÂنسَانَ Ù…ÙÂنْ عَلَق٠﴿٢﴾ اقْرَأْ وَرَبّÙÂÙƒÙŽ الْأَكْرَم٠﴿٣﴾ الَّذÙÂيعَلَّمَ بÙÂالْقَلَم٠﴿٤﴾ عَلَّمَ الْإÙÂنسَانَ مَا لَمْ يَعْلَمْ ﴿٥﴾ كَلَّا Ø¥ÙÂنَّ الْإÙÂنسَانَ لَيَطْغَىٰ ﴿٦﴾
Meaning English Translation:
{Read in the name of your Lord Who created. (1) He created man from a clot. (2) Read and your Lord is Most Honorable, (3) Who taught (to write) with the pen (4)Taught man what he knew not. (5)}

The first revelations of the holy Quran were the first five verses of surat Al-alaq (The clot). Those verses were revealed in the cave of Hira, Makkah.

Prior to the Caliph Uthman, the verses of the Koran were written on "shards of pottery, scraps of hide, and the hearts of men (i.e., memorized)." The Koran is organized by length of passages, not in chronological order, so no one knows which was the "first" surah, although it's probably one of the short ones, toward the end of the book.

Asalaamualaikum, There Are 114 Surahs in the Qur'an, Surah Fathihah Being the first one and Surah An-Naas Being the last one But the First Surah That was revealed is Surah Alaq. Allah Knows Best.
