Coca cola originated in 1885, Pepsi Cola was first produced in the 1890's
if im correct it was dr pepper but it wasnt called dr pepper until after coke was invented. In the old soda shops the would just have flavors they added to your carbonated water(i.e. grape, cherry, vanilla, orange etc.) and after a while there was a guy who mixed 23 and it tasted great so he sold it to 1 soda shop at a time and later it was called dr pepper so dr pepper was made first but not called so until later.
The above is quite correct. Dr. Pepper was officially patented on December 1, 1885, when it was first served in a bottle.
Coca-Cola was sold for the first time in 1894, about nine years after Dr. Pepper.
actually, dr pepper was made by Charles alderton who was a pharmacist at morrisons old corner drug store. it was made in 1885 one year earlier than coke
Dr. Pepper is the oldest of the three soft drinks.
Coca-Cola was first produced in 1886; Pepsi came on the scene ten years later, in 1896. The oldest of the soft drinks, Dr Pepper was served for the first time (according to the US Patent Office) on December 1, 1885.
In the last half of the 19th century, pharmacists began to experiment with flavored beverages to serve at the soda fountain in their pharmacies. In Waco, Texas, pharmacist Charles C. Alderton mixed effervescent water, fruit juice, sugar and several other ingredients to create a fizzy drink that his customers were hard-pressed to describe. It quickly became a local favorite known by the name "the Waco." Someone jokingly suggested changing the name to Dr Pepper, after the father of a woman Alderton's boss had been seeing. Known then as Dr Pepper's Phos-Ferrates, the beverage was sold only in soda fountains until 1891, when it went to a manufacturing company. It made its national debut at the St. Louis World's Fair in 1904.
Pepsi was invented by a pharmacist by the name of John Stith Pemberton in 1886. It is said to have had cocaine hidden in a "cola" flavored liquor. Of course eventually the medicinal drug was removed upon more wide spread popularity and eventually became the beverage we know today.
Coca-Cola on the other hand was made almost at the same time, but just a few years or so later. The drink was first made in the 1890s by a pharmacist by the name of Caleb Bradham in North Carolina
7-Up came first. It was introduced in 1929 as "Bib-Label Lithiated Lemon-Lime Soda" before its name changed in 1936 to 7 Up. Sprite was introduced to the US in 1961 after it was developed in West Germany as Fanta Klare Zitrone ("Clear Lemon Fanta") in 1959, mostly as a response to 7 Up's popularity.

Coca-Cola was first produced in 1886. Pepsi came to the world ten years later. However, Dr-Pepper was first. Dr-Pepper came to the world on December 1, 1885. So if your looking for COKE AND PEPSI (not dr-pepper) then the answer is Coca-Cola. But really it was Dr-Pepper.Coca-Cola recipe was invented 1885 and pepsi was first made in the 1890s
you put it in coke or Pepsi or dr pepper
No-one really knows. Here's the order.First: Dr-Pepper (December 1, 1885)Second: Coca-Cola (1886)Third: Pepsi (Ten years later after Coke)I have tried both coke and pepsi. Coke is however kind of sweet to me. And pepsi is ok. Really you can't find the difference of coke's and pepsi's tastes. They both actually taste the same. So I wouldn't really say pepsi copied coke.
Diet Pepsi came out in 1964 Diet Coke was 1982.
