All catfish are opportunistic feeders. To minimize predation in your aquarium if smaller fish choose a species who have smaller mouths such as Cory cats. Raphael cats can also be good choices. Various Synadonitus cats would also suit well.
No, catfish will eat other fish, shrimp, water bugs, but no grass
no they dont .
Yes if the other fish can fit into its mouth! My catfish recently ate the 5" cichlid in the 90G tank. The cichlid was a little bit larger than the catfish when I first bought it (about 4") about 1.5 year ago, now the catfish is 9".
Other fish and catfish food seaweed and weed as well hahaha
Bigger fish eat angelfish such as catfish.
a dog fish
All the crazy fish do.
No
yes catfish are scavengers and eat most things
That is a broad question. Small catfish will be eaten by bigger fish, be it in the sea or in freshwater. They will also be eaten by other bigger catfish, so the answer is catfish are both predator and prey.
