Most digital cameras are equipped to connect directly to a USB port although most of them also use some type of solid state memory card or stick to store digital images. The memory can be removed from the camera and inserted into an appropriate card reader - but the exact type of reader depends on the type of card. Examples of removable camera memory include: PCMCIA, CF-I, CF-II, SM / SMC, MS, MSD, MSPD, MSPDX, M2, MMC ,RS-MMC, MMCmicro, SD, SxS, UFS, miniSD, microSD, xD ,iStick, SFM, µcard, and NT NT+. Some of these can be read by the same card reader, but no card reader can handle all of them unless it has multiple slots to accommodate all the different form factors and pin setups.

It depends on the video camera. It's usually USB, but it could be FireWire, Thunderbolt, a port on the Graphics Card or Sound Card, or somewhere else on the I/O port. Hope this helps! SeanHolshouser

Where to connect the inkjet printer into the computer?

Typically, modern printers connect using USB. You will need to find a free USB port on your computer to plug it in. Older printers (as well as decreasing numbers of newer printers) connect via a parallel port. A parallel port is a somewhat rectangular port (rounded edges) with two rows of sockets (25 sockets in all). How do you transfer some of my photos from my digital camera to a computer?

The simplest way if your camera contains a memory card is to buy a card reader. These cost a few pounds or dollars and simply plug into your USB port. If you have XP or Vista after plugging your memory card into a reader and plugging the reader into the USB port, a window pops up giving you options. Click on 'open window to view files' and open another window where you would like your picture to go. Then simply drag the picture across from your 'card' window into your destination window.
