That depends on what you are deficient in. For instance, vitamin C deficiency leads to scurvy. Vitamin D deficiency can cause rickets and osteoporosis. Vitamin B deficiency causes a host of problems including, niacin: pellagra and thiamine: beriberi. Macronutrient deficiency (Carbohydrates, Proteins, and Fats) can cause many problems as well including malnutrition.
