Loudness is the quality of a sound that is the primary psychological correlate of physical strength or amplitude. It is a subjective felt impression and is often confused with objective measure of sound pressure.
The three factors are: sound pressure, frequency, and duration.
Loudness is the quality of a sound that is the physical strength (amplitude) of the sound pressure, which is a subjective measure.
As the perception of loudness varies from person to person it cannot be universally measured.
The loudness of a sound is dependent on the amplitude of the sound wave, whereas its frequency determines its pitch (highness or lowness of the sound). Amplitude can be modulated in a variety of ways by different sound sources. In humans, our voicebox changes the intensity of sounds based on the pressure/rate at which air is pushed through the vocal cords. Pushing air through one's throat while making vibrations with vocal cords results in a louder sound. Different areas of the body (sinuses) also affect the pitch and volume of the sounds emitted.
It depends on how big your shlt is.

The speed of sound is slower at higher altitudes because the air temperature is lower. The greater the amplitude, the louder the sound. It is your perception of the energy of a sound. What two factors affect the loudness of a sound
The loudness of a sound depends on the amount of energy it takes to make the sound and the distance from the source of the sound
Loudness level LN is measured in phons and the Loudness N is measured in sones. Scroll down to related links and use the fine converter "Loudness level and loudness".
Generally speaking, we perceive an increase in amplitude as an increase in loudness. However, at the higher end of the scale of Sound Pressure Level we are less sensitive to incremental changes. The loudness we experience also varies with frequency. For instance, we are not as sensitive to soft sounds when they are in the low frequency range (20Hz - 700Hz).Loudness is partly a function of the way in which our ears physically respond to sound. However, the brain/mind plays a big part in how loudness is perceived. Loudness is a characteristic of sound that is primarily a psychological correlate of its physical strength. We can conceive of the (objective) physicalstrength of sound as its amplitude. Then, as we might imagine, the overall effect is that loudness increases with amplitude.

usually the pitch of the sound the frequency of the sound affect the loudness but as we say loud we mean how high the sound. In other terms when somebody shouts and we get irritated we would say "Not so loud" that means we refer to the person who is speaking loudly. this is known as the factors that affect sound

Loudness, pitch and timbre are approximately the correlates of signal amplitude, frequency and frequency spectrum, respectively.
Loudness is affected by sound pressure, frequency and its bandwidth, and duration (time). Loudness is a subjective measure, which is often confused with objective measurements of sound pressure in decibels with a sound level meter. A-weighting filters attempt to adjust sound measurements to correspond to loudness as perceived by an average human; however, loudness varies from person to person and cannot be really measured.
