Nitrogen
I believe an Airworthiness Directive was issued for large passenger aircraft that requires the use of Nitrogen.
There are several reasons for using Nitrogen:
1. its non corrosive
2. its non flammable
3. it less likely to change its volume due to temp
4. it is less likely to change its volume at altitude.
Nitrogen
Helium is lighter than air. So, tires filled will helium will help the tire rise up in the air.
The main benefit of nitrogen filled tires is that the loss of tire pressure is slower, because the gas in the tire escapes more slowly than air does.
They are filled by Hydrogen gas.
neon & argon + helium gas
No
They are filled with air, which is a mixture of gasses, so yes they are filled with gas
Aircraft tires can be filled with regular compressed air, however pure nitrogen is also often used.
With the proper pressure, no.
F1 tyres are filled with Nitrogen since it is a more stable gas than air
Any "tire store" will be able to do it for you. But you will be unpleasantly surprised at what it costs to get your tires filled with a gas that comprises almost 80% of earth's atmosphere.
Bicycle tires have tubes, so you wouldn't have a tire filled with Slime. There are tubes pre-filled with Slime though.
Nitrogen is filled in aeroplane tyres.
They are multi-ply tires filled to very high pressure. Most jet and large airplane tires are filled with nitrogyn.
they are filled up with regular air that our tires use but some cheaters in monster truck racing fill their tires up with water to make sure they land on all fours.
Yes, in Nascar a pit crew is required. Their main job is changing tires and keeping the tank filled with gas.
Air
No.
