Amoxicillin v Ampicillin
Amoxicillin and Ampicillin are essentially the same except for one major difference, the route of administration. Amoxicillin is by mouth while Ampicillin in parenterally (usually intravenously) administered. So, for tooth extraction I would go for Amoxicillin so you can just take the pills.
