LEVELS OF ORGANIZATION:

1. Atom- Atoms are the smallest unit of matter.

2. Molecules- Molecules are created when two or more atoms bond together.

3. Cells- Cells are the smallest working unit of a living thing. Cells are made up of various molecules and atoms, and they use various molecules and elements to function. (NOTE- An element is a composed of many of the same exact type of atom.)

4. Tissue- A tissue is a group of similar cells performing a specific function.

5. Organ- An organ is a group of tissues performing the same function. (Example= brain or heart)

6. Organ System- An organ system is a group of organs performing the same function. (Example= large intestines)

7. Organism- An organism is a living thing with multiple organ systems working together to maintain a comfortable inner environment.

8. Species- A species is a group of living things that can interbreed to produce fertile offspring.

9. Population- A population is a group of the same species living in a certain area.

10. Community- A community is all of the living things that live in a specific area.

11. Ecosystem- An ecosystem is all of the living (biotic) and nonliving (abiotic) factors that make up an area.

12. Biosphere- The biosphere is all parts of the Earth where living things can survive.

Atom > Molecule > Cell > Tissue > Organ > Organ System > Organism > Species > Population > Community > Ecosystem > Biosphere

Therefore, an atom would be the simplest level of life, while the biosphere would be the most complex unit of life.

Hope this helps!

The correct answer is the Polychaos dubium, an Amoeboid.

The mapping of life's genome is an on-going process and probably won't end any time soon. This is arguably one of the largest genomes mapped however, at 670,000,000,000 base pairs, in comparison to the human genome, which is mapped at 3,200,000,000.
