Setting aside heat capacity and other considerations, it will be the metal which can conduct the heat into itself the fastest. The property of a material that speaks to how fast it can transfer heat is called thermal conductivity by chemists, physics and engineers. Silver, copper, gold and aluminum top the list (in that order). A link is provided to the rest of the elements listed by thermal conductivity, and notice that the list starts with the least thermally conductive elements and goes to the most thermally conductive, which are at the bottom.
the darker the color the more heat it has.the color black absorbs much more heat than other colors.in winter you should wear this color. on the other hand, white is a very light color and the lighter the color the less heat it has. this color should be worn on sunny days. :)
because it has more heat so both of them can absorb heat.
Thanks!
what can you conclude about which material absorbed heat faster
heat
because it absorbs the heat from the sun
Hi, believe it or not, nylon can trap heat, but not as much heat as wool or denim. I have done a project on it and it absorbs a good amount of heat. Wool absorbs more because of it's fibres and denim because of it's thickness.
wool
To compress the refrigerant. The refridgerant (freon or whatever) is a liquid and when it expands to a gas it absorbs allot of heat (makes stuff cold). then the gas which is now not cold but warm is sent back to the compressor where it compresses it down to a liquid again so it can start all over.
Heat is absorbed by the refrigerant liquid inside the fridge, and rejected by the heat exchanger on the back of it.
No. When a liquid becomes a gas it absorbs heat.
Absorbs heat and melts.
What did I find
What do you mean? It's evaporation... The liquid absorbs latent heat from the surrounding...
Before rubbing alcohol absorbs, it is a liquid. While it absorbs (heat), the phase change occurring is evaporation. As the alcohol takes in heat, it turns into a gas.
The thinner the liquid is the faster it will absorb heat.
Liquid would get changed into gas form at this fixed temperature, called as Boiling point of the liquid. The heat thus given will be known as Latent Heat.
It becomes steam SIMPLE
this is a description of melting - when a solid absorbs energy - that is, gets hot - and becomes liquid - that is, it melts
Scientifically it is an endothermic reaction. Where ice absorbs surrounding heat to form a liquid.
mixture of both
Water is not the most quickest liquid to evaporate.
