you can use filtration where you can put a funnel lined with filter paper into a beaker and pour your mixture into it ( for heterogeneous mixtures only)

for separating mixtures like ink you can use paper chromatography where u get a strip of chromatography paper and u mark a 2 cm line on it and in the middle of the line you place a dot of ink. pour some alcohol/ ethanol into a beaker and place the strip if paper into the beaker making sure the alcohol level is below the 2cm line and stays like that. after leaving it to set for a while you will see the different colours of ink on the paper.
