Personally I think that Nikon is better than Canon, and it may be because I started out on a Nikon and have been on one ever since... but I truly believe that Nikon has a better quality and that it will last you much longer.
I use a canon 7D and have seen that the clarity of a picture is same as taken on a Nikon D90. However, it depends upon how one looks at a camera and a photo taken from a photografer's point of view. To me canon is better than a nikon...
Nikon D60 is the best alternative for the Canon Rebel XSI.
Canon and Nikon are both very up to date in camera research and technology and equally as good. Nikon is one of the leading makers of labroatory microscopes along with lenses and cameras.

There are many options to buy a camera, but I prefer Canon 700D & Nikon D3300 in my budget. I have a little bit of confusion from both of them. Can you suggest me which one is best?
Canon Verses NikonBoth my sisters have Nikon digital cameras, and I have a digital Canon Rebel. Personally, I find that the Canon's pictures come out looking better. But, it's difficult to make a generalisation about this kind of thing, but most people seem to think the Canon compacts are amongst the best one can buy, the Nikon compacts not quite so good. This may be because Canon have a bit more expertise in electronics from their office electronics (printers/faxes/copiers etc). For SLR cameras, its not really possible to come down on one side or another - Nikon and Canon both make wonderful DSLR cameras; one only has to see press/sport photographers to see how Nikon and Canon dominate professional DSLR. Most pro-photographers will stick with what they are comfortable with; they know they wont go far wrong with either Nikon or Canon. I tried both Nikon and Canon DSLR and chose Nikon - thought the images were slightly better on the Nikon and the Nikon felt slightly more "familiar".
Thinking of getting Canon 550d from hong kong. If you want to get a professional one, I suggest you get a Nikon. If you just want to get one, just get a canon one, it's more popular.
. Professionals mainly use the SLR type of digital camera and sometimes use "digital backs". As for makes, my personal opinion is to go with either Canon or Nikon cameras. .
The best brand of a camera is Nikon. Definitely Nikon because of the stunning picture quality and I have seen most professionals use Nikon. I'm not a professional and I have a Sony, its okay i guess. But I just take pictures with friends and stuff like that. Canon should be the second best. And DO NOT buy Kodak. I know a friend who has returned five of Kodak cameras! And one who says it always freezes and is blurry. But if you were taking pictures for fun like I do, I'd go with Nikon Coolpix (still from Nikon), Canon or Sony (not sure how great Sony is, but i have one and its not bad). These sources are mostly MY opinion and some are opinions of others.
We can not say that, that depends on a lot of stuff. Do you already have lenses for Nikon or Canon? People have different meanings about that, do you know someone who has more knowledge about this question than you do? Ask that person, and ask him/her why he finds that. You can also Google it of course, for a lot of opinions. :-)
