Mars appears red because it consists mostly of iron oxide, aka, rust. Iron rusts and turns red when it comes in contact with oxygen, and so because Mars is iron rich, and that… iron touches oxygen, Mars is red.
Uranus. It could be Neptune too, but I would call that blue not blue-green.
