Many pagan faiths stemming from Western Europe believe that all people have the right to worship as they see fit. Many would even argue that all roads/faiths lead to one in the end anyway and that it is really a matter of which of these roads makes you feel spiritually fullfilled as an individual. I myself am one of these pagans.

Why do some Christians think that Christianity is the the only true religion?

A:Every believer, in every religion, believes that his or her religion is the true religion. While polytheistic religions, by their nature, do encourage some tolerance of other beliefs, monotheistic religions make no possible allowance for the notion that there are other gods. This crosses over into preaching to members of other religions that there is only one god and that that God is the Abrahamic God. Some extremists go as far as to hold other beliefs in contempt.

What are different ways that members of one religion might view other religions?

Members of one religion may view other religions as:Both wrong and evil. They may be very intolerant of such religions and their adherents, and attempt to force or coerce members into leaving their faith.Wrong, but misguided. Responses may vary from tolerance to proselytising and even coercion to convert members from their faith.Worthy of respect and toleration, even if probably wrong. This might not rule out attempts to convert members from their faith.Sometimes, members of the dominant religion refuse to even recognise another religion as a religion at all. Without judgement of the correctness of their attitude, this may apply to the view that some Christians have of Scientology.Within some religions such as Christianity, there are several separate denominations, sometimes called 'religions'. The members of one denomination may have different views about other denominations, but usually regard them as all fundamentally true. Even within different denominations of Christianity, attempts may be made to convert members from one denomination to another.
