Catholicism was founded by God, Our Blessed Lord, in 33 A.D. when He hung dead on the Cross, It was shown to the world fifty days later, when the Holy Spirit descended on the apostles.
Protestants were started fifteen centuries later by a man who left his religious Order without asking for permission and broke all of his solemn vows, and a King who wanted to put away his wife and get a new one.
Catholicism was guaranteed by God, who send His Son to start It, and send the Holy Spirit to guide it.
Protestants have no one to guide them, so fall back on every man should decide for himself what he thinks is right.
Catholicism has the Magisterium (the bishops under the Pope, guided and guaranteed by God) to teach them and tell them if new things in society are good or bad.
Protestants have no such guidance so usually take a vote.
Catholicism has The Bible, which the Catholic Church wrote, and decided which books make up that Bible, and have guarded it for 2,000 years.
Protestants have nothing, so they took the Bible from the Church, threw out the books they didn't agree with, and made their own religion from that.
Bottom line? Catholicism has God behind It. You can't really say He is strong, it would be more correct to say that He is strength itself, and all "strong" is only described that way as a pale image of Him.
Protestantism only has people behind it, fallible people who decided what books they would accept in the Bible, fallible people who decided (and are still deciding!) what they are going to believe.
Which is stronger? You decide.
