As of 2006, with the addition of Indiana, there are now 48 U.S. states that observe daylight saving time (all but Hawaii and Arizona, although the Navaho Nation, part of which is in Arizona, does do daylight saving time).

Arizona and Hawaii don't observe daylight savings times. Territories of the United States like Puerto Rico, American Samoa and Guam don't either.

Most of the United States observe daylight savings time, with the exceptions being states of Arizona and Hawaii along with the territories of Puerto Rico, Virgin islands, Guam

It appears that Arizona and Hawaii are the only states that do NOT recognize daylight savings time.
