Crystalline compounds, flavones are the parent substances of a number of important yellow pigments which occur on the leaves or in the stems and seed capsules of many primroses. Flavones are colorless. Celery and parsley are the most common sources of flavones in our diets.
It contain a pigment called Flavones.
There are 4 visual pigments held in cone cells of the eye.
a rare form of cancer in which malignant cells are found in the part of the eye called the uvea, which contains cells called melanocytes that house pigments.
These pigments are called carotenoids.
Antenna Pigments
They are called granna. They contain chlorophyll pigments.
They are called granna. They contain photosynthetic pigments
The flatted sacks with in the chloroplasts are called chlorophyll. The chlorophyll preform photosynthesis inside the plant cell.
The chloroplast is where the photosynthesis happens. The pigments in chloroplasts, namely chlorophyll, take the energy from sunlight and use it to facilitate the production of sugars.

These other pigments are called accessory pigments (red, orange, yellow, brown).
