Battle you have a choice of Chikorita, Totodile, and Cyndaquil. In the beginning of Colosseum, in Phenac city, you battle the blue-suited guy and snag a Shadow Totodile, or while in the pokemon lab in the desert snag it. Trade from these games to a GBA game and then to DS. Or, if you complete the Hoenn Dex on Emerald you can get Totodile from Professor Birch. Or, you can use a Gameshark to get almost any Pokemon.
