AC/DC is a Hard Rock Band from Australia that were popular in the late 1970s to the 2000s. After their 1979 Album Highway to Hell, tragedy struck: their singer, Bon Scott had died of alcohol poisoning on February 19, 1980. AC/DC, in mourning for Bon's death, released their album Back in Black. This album went on to be the highest-selling album of any band with an estimated 45 million copies sold worldwide since it debut on July 25, 1980, and is rated as the 2nd highest-selling album by anyone, just behind Michael Jackson's Thriller. Ever since then, they've had minor successes with Singles like Nervous Shakedown and Flick of the Switch. Then, in 1988, they released Blow Up your Video, and returned to awesomeness. The next couple of albums had similar success: Razor's Edge, Ballbreaker, Live, and Stiff Upper Lip. Several shows on the Razors Edge tour were recorded for the 1992 live album, titled Live. Live was produced by Fairbairn, and is considered one of the best live albums of the 1990s. After an eight-year hiatus, the popular band released Black Ice. On September 15, 2008, AC/DC Radio debuted on Sirius Channel 19 and XM channel 53. The channel plays AC/DC music along with interviews with the band members. All AC/DC fans are now anxious to see what AC/DC has in store for us next. I am an ac/dc fan myself, and this was about all my knowledge about them. Thanks for reading.
