* Ryan Cayabyab - composer, arranger and conductor
* Jose Marie Chan - composer, singer
* Levi Celerio - a lyricist with over 4,000 songs to his credit. His compositions range from Filipino folk songs to Christmas songs to love songs. His name was placed in the Guinness Book of World Records for his leaf-playing feat. He was known as the only man who could play music with a leaf. He died on April 2, 2002. * Rosalina Abejo - a composer and conductor. She taught composition and Music Theory at Kansas University and St. Pius Seminary in Kentucky, USA. * Nicanor Abelardo - composed over a hundred kundiman songs (ballads). He started composing at the age of 8. He died in 1934 at the age of 41. * Michael Dadap - a guitarist, composer and conductor. He was instrumental in creating a world-class rondalla ensemble in Boston, Massachusetts, USA. * Julian Felipe - composed the Philippine national anthem, "Lupang Hinirang." * Julio Nakpil - a composer who also fought in the Philippine revolution. His first composition, a polka, was done in 1888. He died in November 1960.
