Who are some serial killers who have had a normal childhood life and why they would kill people?

The controversy continues as to the nature v. nurture theory in reguardes to the making of a serial killer. But most experts now believe it is probably a combination of both. It is understandable that Charles Manson became a killer. Manson had a horrendous childhood, as did Aileen Wurnous. But there are always exceptions to every rule. Ted Bundy's early life was not conventional but he was not severly mistreated. But there were some disturbing incidents when he was quite young that seemed to be a warning sign that all was not right with little Ted. His mother's younger sister awoke from a nap to find Ted looking down at her with a strange smile. It didn't take her long to see that the boy had taken knives from the kitchen and placed them all around her on the sofa where she had napped. He was three years old. Obviously there were problems that had already developed in the young boy.

Jeffrey Dahmer had what is concidered a fairly normal childhood. His parents fought almost non-stop until they divorced while Jeff was still in school. But there were no major problems such as beatings or abuse.

Richard Storlett of Georgia had a solid upbringing with no abuse of any kind.

Paul Bernardo of Canada had a normal childhood but grew up to be a sexual sadest and serial killer.

Cary Staynor of California had a normal childhood with the exception of the kidnapping of his younger brother Steven. Staynor was responsible for four deaths in Yosemite Natl. Park.
