The image on the back of a $2 bill is taken from the painting Declaration of Independance by John Trumbull. The original work had portraits of 47 people, 42 of them being signers of the Declaration. The print used on the back of the $2 bill has some differences from the original work. Only 40 of the 47 people portrayed in the original are on the bill. Those people are:
Benjamin Harrison, Richard Henry Lee, Samuel Adams, George Clinton, William Paca, Samuel Chase, Lewis Morris, William Floyd, Arthur Middleton, Thomas Heyward, Jr.,
Charles Carroll, Stephen Hopkins, William Ellery, George Clymer, Robert Morris, Thomas Willing, Benjamin Rush, Elbridge Gerry, Robert Treat Paine, Abraham Clark, William Hooper, Joseph Hewes, James Wilson, Francis Hopkinson, John Adams, Roger Sherman,
Robert R. Livingston, Thomas Jefferson, Benjamin Franklin, Richard Stockton, Francis Lewis, John Witherspoon, Samuel Huntington, William Williams, Oliver Wolcott, Charles Thomson, John Hancock, George Read, John Dickinson and Edward Rutledge.
The last 2 portraits are of unknown people.
The back of the two dollar bill depicts the signing of the Declaration of Independence.

The U.S. dollar is referred to as the 'green back' because the reverse side is printed in green.
Hint: look at the caption right below the picture. ALL current U.S. bills have captions for both the portraits on the front and the images on the back.
Nobody is on the back of the $500 US Dollar note, it just says 'The United States of America' and '500 Dollars'.

The 1922 PEACE dollar regardless of mintmarks is the most common coin of the series, circulated coins are $22.00 to $26.00.
The Jefferson dollar coin has the same reverse as all coins in the series, the Statue of Liberty. The Jefferson $2 bill has John Trumbull's painting of the Signing of the Declaration of Independence.
On the back of a series of 1918 note is an eagle. On the back of a series of 1928 note are the words "The United States of America - One Thousand Dollars".Pictures of all the large denomination notes can be found on the B.E.P.'s website. The link is in Related Links.
It's a Trade Dollar not a Morgan dollar. If you look at the back of the coin, the phrase "Trade Dollar" is under the eagle. As to value, take it to a coin dealer for an assessment it may not be genuine. The entire series is known to have had copy's and fakes made.
