Nine Inch Nails, or NIN for short. The Nine Inch Nails-Jane's Addiction bill last year had a great name.
who cares about that if she has that name then you should know to stay away! Well actually Jane Bainter, the namesake of both the band and the song "Jane Says" still lives in the Hollywood area. She has been off drugs for over 10 years, and has never gotten any royalties or cash for being the inspiration for both the band and the song. Just an FYI, she as never a prostitute, but rather a college educated white-collar addict. She had a 9-5 job during the day, and spent her evenings in LA's rock clubs, wearing the wig mentioned in the song, and doing a lot of drugs. Jane Bainter did eventually make that trip to Spain, and as far as I know, she is no longer in contact with the members of the band, but still friends with Casey Niccoli, Perry's ex-girlfriend, who was a major part of the band in the 80's.
