Answers.com's Community Mascot, known to most as the Orange Guy, was created by a talented illustrator named Leo Blanchette.
Leo came up with the idea in 2007 while driving 30 miles to work. After running out of gas and walking 2 miles to the nearest gas station, he got serious about the concept.
His stock images and clip art can be found all over the web and are available for royalty-free purchase on sites like JesterArtsIllustrations.com and Clipartof.com.
A fan of inventor Nicola Tesla, Leo currently lives in Hawaii and has developed quite an impressive stock illustration collection. He hopes to one day cross over to 3-D architectural visualization and is presently working on a 3-D project involving one of his coolest inventions regarding wireless transmission of energy.
