All but one of the disciples were executed (excluding Judas Iscariot who hung himself after betraying Jesus). The apostle John was the only one that didn't die by execution or assasination, but he was exiled til he died. St. Stephen (or just Stephen in the Bible) was stoned to death, and is considered by most to be the first official Christian martyr. John the Baptist was beheaded by a king Herod. That's not counting all the people who were executed in Rome up to the present. Other than that, you can look up a list of Christian martyrs and get plenty.
Steven was one martyr and there are others as well all over the world.Especially in the U.S.R and Romania.
