Mohammed is the Muslim Prophet (the 'last' prophet). Islam also recognizes Jesus and Moses has being prophets (Christian and Jewish, respectively), but believe that they message they brought from God was not his true will.

1- All the prophets Came From Allah (God) and all are respectable and were assigned duties which they fulfilled to their best. But All the prophets except Mohammad Peace be upon Him were sent towards a single community. Muhammad Peace Upon Him was appointed to address the whole generation without a prejudice of white or Brown or Black. Without a Restriction for East or West or North or South. He did not come to Reject all the others who came before him. He Actually Established the Originality of messages from all the prophets before him. It is unique think to understand that Muhammad Peace Be Upon Prayed Before God on Qibla Awal Bait ul Maqdas defining it the Qibla(Directed Place) From God Almighty. And he also Prayed inside Masjid Al Haraam ( Translation: Sacred Mosque).
2- Secondly He came to remove the misconceptions of people. God blessed him with Al-quran a sacred Book.( This book is not only sacred, it is a complete book in its truest sense. You cannot find a single copy on this earth which is different from the Main. If you Go to Saudi Arabia you will find the same Al Quran. If you go to any country of Europe you will find the same Al Quran. There is no difference between Muslims on the basis of Al Quran, as compared to the other religions in which there are many books which promise to be divine copy of the same, such as Bible has Basically Four Books, and there is definitely difference when we read them. The Original Bible is no doubt a very sacred book, as it is Book of God Almighty. But If i ask you What is the Main Bible, confusion will surround your heart. You will have to believe according to your faith and understanding. But in Al Quran there is no such thing. All Muslims agree that this is the only and the Legitimate Book blessed to the Last Prophet Peace Be Upon Him. Which not only confirms its own genuineness, it also confirms that there were books which were blessed to the Holy Prophets Before Hazrat Muhammad Peace Be Upon Him, but time after time there were changes in the same book. There is a certain reason behind it. For Hazrat Muhammad Peace Upon Him, The God Almighty Said, This Al Quran is the last message, it is the complete message and It is very well Guarded by the Almighty Itself. Islam is the religion of peace. It is the basics of the message that peace should be to all. One should not compare it by watching humans how theybehave. But by Watching message what does it convey the meanings. For this one has to read the Al Quran. The More we understand Islam the more we understand true Muslims.
