They're remarkably similar to each other.

Don't forget, RMC & USMC have a "Bond of Friendship" which extends way beyond social niceties, shared traditions/ values, & the occasional parade! For example, a battalion ("Commando") of RM was at the Chosin Reservoir with the USMC. Also, US Navy submarines & ships launched many RM small-scale raids behind enemy lines throughout the Korean War; the "Royals" usually wore American uniforms (with their own headgear & Union Jack shoulder flags), & used a mixture of American & British weaponry/ explosives determined by the nature of the task.

There are persistent rumours (& some documentary evidence/ photographs) that a few RM also served with USMC Force Recon & similar units during the Vietnam War, & certainly there were a few USMC personnel with RM units in Malaya & Borneo. For example, a recently deceased senior officer of the USMC saw active service as a troop (platoon) leader with the RM in Borneo in the early 1960s.

Generally, there is much shared training between the two corps - eg many RM officers attend/ instruct at the USMC Advanced Warfighting Lab, Amphibious Warfare School, & Staff College, & it's common for USMC students to go through the RM's Mountain Leader & Reconnaissance Leader courses. Shared unit training in general amphibious ops & FAST are annual events.

The two corps' respective Sniper Schools exchange instructors & students as a matter of course; experiences & techniques are shared, & it's not unusual for senior instructors at either school to be from the other corps.

So, broadly, their training is "much of a muchness"; not that different in most respects, & often pretty well identical.

Are the Marine Scout Snipers better than the Army Special Forces Snipers?

The abilities of each as shooters depends on the individual... whichever one is a better shot is going to be the better shot, no matter what branch they're in. As for Special Forces and Marine Scout Snipers, they're trained in rather different roles. A Marine Scout Sniper would not be trained in everything a Green Beret would be trained in, nor would a Green Beret have the same priorities in training as a Marine Scout Sniper.

What is better to join the military for US Army Airborne or Marine Corps Scout Sniper?

It all depends on what you want to get out of it.It depends on what you're more interested in. Marine scout sniper would definitely be harder, because it's more centralized in one job. With airborne you'd only have basics and then a 3-week airborne course. That's about it. You could also get into an air assault course, but it's not really difficult or necessary even to get the patch. It's all on your personal preference. Either way, good luck. Hope i helped a little bit. If you're looking into scout sniper look up the show "surviving the cut." it has full episodes on youtube and shows the training you'll go through. Marine sniper is one specific episode.
