Dogs mouths are severely dirty. The only reason we can "kiss" them, and let them lick our wounds, is because, most of their germs/viruses/etc, are species specific.. IE: we can't give them staph or anything... Compared to a human, a dog has a very nasty/dirty mouth (well, that depends on how you look at it, I mean, some humans are capable of some pretty amazing trash talk).

If my memory serves me correctly, I believe the Mythbusters on the Discovery channel tested this and determined that a dog's mouth has fewer bacteria than a human.
At least that would be fewer bacteria that show up on the culture plates.
I don't think anyone can answer the question as asked--I mean, who has time and money to go around swabbing samples from the mouth of every animal on earth? So they put this question under dogs because there is a myth, I guess you would call it, that dogs have very clean mouths and that puppies can heal wounds by licking them.
no
no it is not a shark who ever answered this question but believe it or not a dog has the cleanest mouth
There are fewer viruses and bacteria in a dog's mouth than in a human's! But there have been relatively few studies in this area.
No, depending on the type [housefly, horsefly, etc.] As far as I know the housefly is the dirtiest insect.
Pigs are considered the cleanest domesticated mammals, they will designate one corner for feces, this corner is far away from the food troughs.
