If you learned a bit about slave trade and plantation history you would know that actually slavery has been going on for many years but actually it was a German priest who said that using the native American as slaves was cruel and that the Africans would take it better.... (Some Priest). So in around 1617 when Jamestown, an English colony introduced the original idea by buying about 64 slaves and having them work in the tobacco fields. Tobacco was first discovered by John Rolfe.....
