The corn dog was invented in 1942 at the Texas State Fair by Carl and Neil Fletcher. But yes, there's a debate! Pronto Pup vendors claim to have introduced it in 1941 at the Minnesota State Fair.

Charles Feltman is believed to be the true inventor. It's really hard to say though. So many people have claimed to invent it. It's actually a rather weird ingredient, but easy to make.
weslee Kevin Bryan invented the hotdog in 1235 in silsbee Texas and is still living to this day
