The medical importance of X rays were recognized immediately after Roentgen's findings were published in 1895. Within weeks an X-ray machine was used in America to diagnose bone fractures.

∙ 10y agoIt was Marie Curie. She and her husband discovered radioactive energy. They also died because of it. They didn't know that it was poisonous but now scientists found out a better, safer way to have X-rays without being radioactively poisoned or infected.
