In The Bible Lot a relative of Abraham was a good man, as he and his entire family were chosen by God to be saved . When God destroyed the city of Sodom and Gomorrah. If he was a bad man god would have also killed him. But as his wife looked back she became a pillar of salt.

But yes he did one thing wrong, he would sit at the city gates and talk to the people of Sodom.

It's all subject to debate... but Moses is in the Old Testament a lot. And Jesus Christ is in the New Testament a lot. And Paul... oh, wait -- you mean "Lot" the guy of Sodom and Gomorrah fame! Sorry... legitimate mistake. Anyway...

Lot was Abraham's "nephew"... the son of his brother:

"...Terah was the father of Abram [Abraham], Nahor, and Haran; and Haran had a son named Lot." (Gen.11:27 NLT New Living Translation)

"...So Abram departed as the Lord had instructed him, and Lot went with him... He took his wife, Sarai, HIS NEPHEW LOT, and all his wealth - his livestock and all the people who had joined his household at Haran..." (Gen.12:4-5 NLT).

Yes

Answer:

Originally he was very righteous; one of Abraham's foremost disciples and his nephew. Later, however, Lot chose to strike out on his own (Genesis ch.13), and ended up in the wicked city of S'dom (Sodom). God tried to hint to Lot that he was on the wrong path: Lot was carried away as a captive when S'dom was attacked (Genesis ch.14); and only Abraham was capable of rescuing him (ibid). But Lot returned to S'dom and eventually lost everything except two daughters when God destroyed S'dom due to its wickedness (Genesis ch.19). Even then, Lot did not return to Abraham. Though his behavior is initially reminiscent of that of Abraham (compare Gen.18 and 19), his descendants later became and remained idolaters.
