∙ 12y agoShe was the founder of the shaker religion born in England feb. 26, 1736 and died sep. 8,1784. the shaker religion was named after their religious shaking and dancing and speaking in toungues. the religion also stated men and women were equal and marriage and sex were not allowed, because it was thought to sprout sin.She didn't even want to get married but her father forced her, all her children died within weeks of life. she also had a vision of Adam and Eve having intercourse and thought it was the reason why they were kicked out of the garden of eden. the town grew prosperous and even crated new inventions like the circular saw.
