It's a mythical name created by a group of people called "Birthers" (who persist in believing the president was actually born in Kenya, when in fact it is well-documented that he was born in the United States). There is NO evidence that Barack Obama used the name Barry Soetoro, nor did his stepfather ever legally adopt him. Some of the Birthers like to claim Mr. Obama used this name at Columbia where he was allegedly a "foreign student." He did not, and he was not.
