On current US currency, only Alexander Hamilton ($10) and Benjamin Frankin ($100) never served as president. George Washington ($1), Thomas Jefferson ($2), Abraham Lincoln ($5), Andrew Jackson ($20) and Ulysses Grant ($50) served as, respectively, the 1st, 3rd, 16th, 7th, and 18th President of the United States. On currency no longer circulating, but still legal tender, Salmon Chase ($10,000) never served as president, while William McKinley ($500), Grover Cleveland ($1,000), James Madison ($5,000) and Woodrow Wilson ($100,000) were, respectively, the 25th, 22nd (and 24th), 4th, and 28th President of the United States.

Benjamin Franklin ($100 bill) and Alexander Hamilton ($10) are the only non-presidents on current US notes. ( The $10,000 bill picturing Salmon P. Chase has been removed from circulation in order to make large cash transactions more difficult.)
