I am P.K. Shaw. My name is Pamela Shaw and I moved from Sydney to Perth almost five years ago. I commenced writing my "sayings" in the late 1960's and started looking for a market in 1974. Twelve of my quotes were used by W.W. Nevill, a subsidiary of Collins Olympic, now known as Collins Debden, on the Group's desk calendars in 1976. I had been associated with Collins Debden from those early days to 2002 when I prepared the desk caldendar quotations for the 2004 desk calendar,for the last time, a task I had performed for about ten years. I met WGP in late 1974 or early 1975 when I visited him at WW Neville in Alexandria where he worked in the printing section as manager back in the days when desk calendars were printed in Australia. They are now printed in China or Singapore. William George Plunkett died in 1975 and I am privileged to have met him.
