Peter safar experimented on dogs. in 2005 he announced that he could recucitate a dog after 3 hours. He found that while adding glucose and oxygen to saline solution that was pumped through a dog's veins immediatly after pumping all the blood out after putting a dog down, it would keep the dog for up to 3 hours in good condition. good enough condition at least to reanimate the dog by pumping clean blood, giving the animal 100 percent oxygen and a jump start to the heart, the dog would come back fine and without brain damage.
