His real name being " Josh Radnor". he used to be working for an architect called Damon rothers but Ted quit and started to be a professor at a university teaching architecture. He has 4 best friends called Robin Scherbatsky ( Cobie Smulders), Marshall Eriksen( Jaseon Segal), Lily Aldrin(Alyson Hannigon) and Barney Stinson(Neil Patrick Haris).
