He had some adventures, which is nice, but his wife is also interesting - she lived for all the time he was lost as a widow, under pressure to remarry so her new husband would get the kingdom; she ran the kingdom in her husband's absence while brilliantly tricking her suitors into leaving her alone and remaining faithful to her husband, whom she refused to believe was dead.
