∙ 8y agoFrozen released in 2013 & was officially in development since 2011, however it should be noted that Frozen was originally going to be an adaptation of Hans Christian Anderson's The Snow Queen which Walt Disney himself wanted to do back in 1937. It spent years in development as The Snow Queen until it was altered into the story that became Frozen.
