The answer is actually in your dryer's model number prefix and has nothing to do with the series name given to the product by Sears. On the inside of the door, generally, there will be a tag. Somewhere on the tag it will say "Model Number." There is a pre-printed part on the sticker and then the part that's been added by a printing machine. If the pre-printed part says 110, you have a Whirlpool. For any other numbers, check out this website: http://www.appliance411.com/parts/sears.shtml
Kenmore dryers have been available for many years. With a specific model number and a call to a Sears appliance repair center, you can probably get the information you need. Without that model number, it's anyone's guess when it was manufactured.
The dryer is going to heat up enough to dry the clothes and that's all it takes for the dryer sheets to work.
The Kenmore 84722 (Sears.com) is a 110Volt dryer. Note that because it only has 110 Volts (not the 240 Volts of a typical dryer) it will take a long time to dry, and the capacity is small. There is also a 110 Volt laundry center (with the same caveats) Kenmore 88732.Each unit also needs venting (permanent or temporary) to the outside.Additional answer:There are many clothes dryers that will operate on 110 volts - and they are usually ones with gas heaters. These include Maytag, Whirlpool, Kenmore, GE, Hotpoint, Haier, LG, Samsung and others.
Whirlpool makes Kenmore appliances, so I strongly suspect they make the water heaters also. Surface trim may vary slightly, but inside it is most likely the same heater. Price would be the only consideration.
Call Kenmore and find out.

Whirlpool, GE, Frigidaire, LG, etc... anybody Sears contracts with to build them.
Sears' main line of appliances, including washers and dryers, is Kenmore, which has been Sears' signature line for years. For the most part, Kenmore washers and dryers are made by Whirlpool, though the manufacturing arrangements change from time to time. Sears' also carries LG washers/dryers.

Hard to GUESS -as you haven't given Model # or year ! -You wouldn't believe how many different dryers, Kenmore makes, so this info is ESSENTIAL. -Just as a wild guess, I'd say, fit it around the pulley FIRST, then the drum.
