Sears uses several manufacturers to build tractors to sears specs. Most are made by Husqvarna and MTD. They recently partnered with Simplicity for the new high end 30 horsepower, I believe the model is CTX9500 and retails for about 6,500.00 dollars. Most rear engine riders are made by Murray or Snapper.

Most Craftsman have the tag under the seat near the rear of the top plate.

You can tell your rear engine is leaking by looking under your rear engine and see if there's drops hitting the ground.
On a Kohler engine there is usually a drian plug on the left side of the engine (drivers side) near the rear of the engine. It is right in front of the oil filter. The oil filter base has a small plug in it that you will need to remove also to drain the filter base after you remove the oil filter.
Remove the cradle mounts on the top front of the engine and rock the engine forward. Removing the coil pack makes access easier too.
