For oxidation , a pure liquid non abrasive deoxidizer is best. No surface damage For road wear, a very fine polish is best. Minimal surface damage For operator damage, such as a previous cleaning with abrasives, you will need a complex resurfacing kit, that involves several steps, including rubbing compounds, several grades of polish and a lens sealer. These kits usually require the use of a power drill, goggles, and gloves. They also use a method to spray on a sealer as opposed to brusing it on with a sponge. These kits are best to clean headlights that have severe damage.
