Yes, they are the same company. I purchased a defective Viore TV and they replaced it with an iSymphony as they were out of the size I had purchased in the Viore.

From my experience, Samsung and LG have the best displays overall when it comes to pixel quality and brightness/gamma/color correction properties. Though not all models come with DVD players, so you much check the specifications. Brand "Viore" makes a wonderful display that combines both and is reasonably priced. They can be found through online distributors of electronics, depending on the brand selected.
