Who manufactured the Wards Western Field pump 22 m xnh825?

[Edit]

Answer

I believe you mean a model 25 wards western field. I have been researcing the same gun .My gun is serial number XNH-830A. All I have found out to date is it is a Savage model 520A.No idea of the year of manufacture.

Answer

Proofhouse.com says the XNH was used on Wards guns made by Nobel. But it only lists two particular models - and one of them is identified as a Marlin!

Answer

I can only offer a little clarification on both guns described. The 25XNH-830A is a private label Nobel Model 33A manufactured from 1953 - 1955 if with a wood stock. Nobel made the same gun with a Tennite stock from 1949-1953. If XNG truely stands for guns manufactured for Wards by Nobel, the only other Nobel pump 22 that I am aware of is Model 235.
