Who makes Kenmore appliances for sears?

Many of these machines are made by Panasonic for Sears under the Kenmore brand name. A search for Panasonic vacuums will turn up units that look just like the Kenmore machines. Same bags and accessories, and the same repair parts as well.

Last time I checked... Kenmore USA ie Sears, were made by different manufactures.
