This is a very open ended question... It would depend on the type of Photography, how good the photographer was... Etc... I know a photographer making more than £100,000 a year, but some that have second jobs to get by and they are both equally talented... It varies widely.

∙ 11y agoOf course, the amount of money any self-employed photographer earns depends on a number of different factors. If you are just starting out, then you will most likely find yourself making only $500-$700 a wedding. Another factor that determines the salary of a wedding photographer is how many weddings you actually work at. But let's say that hypothetically, you were to do 35 wedding your first year, and you charge $600 per wedding. Do the math. That would be.. $21,000. With more experience, your reputation will improve, and you can start charging more money per wedding.

∙ 13y agoA lot depends on the job. They get about $600 or more for a wedding. You know the pressure is on for this kind of a job. If the pictures don't come out you can't just go back and do them over like you can if it is a picture of a house that is for sale. You have one shot at it and that's it.

∙ 11y agoDepends on their employement. You make fair wage being employed by a newpaper, magazine or photobureau, but employement is scarse this days. You'll most likely be a freelancer, which means your skill vs. market demand will determine your income.
