John Wayne's stunt double for 30 years was actor Riley R. Waters. He was Wayne's double from 1948's "Red River", right up to "True Grit". Waters died November 28, 1987.

Most of the stunt guys were the foot soldiers or other villains and also did some of the stunt work in the Ranger suits except in the case of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers The Movie when Johnny Yong Bosch had to do most of his stunts due to his double getting injured.
